George Magazine was not just politics as usual! Founded by John F. Kennedy Jr., George tried to go where politics and culture converge and was an irreverent monthly guide to the people and the process of politics and public issues.
On January 4th, 2001, Jack Kliger, President and CEO of Hachette Filipacchi Magazines announced that a special commemorative issue of George Magazine would be released in March 2000 and will be the final publication for the magazine launched by John F. Kennedy Jr. in 1995. In his remarks, Mr. Kliger said "George was given enormous vitality and creativity by its founder John F. Kennedy, Jr., who developed an exciting editorial concept."
George Magazine will be missed by the staff of MagazineCity as much as we have missed it's founder.
